What I set out to do
Every project has odd jobs: counting characters for a title, turning a headline into a slug, writing a meta description. I kept jumping between different sites for each one, and most wanted a sign-up or were buried in ads. I wanted one calm place where those jobs just get done.
What I built
A free collection of single-purpose tools, each on its own page and doing one job well.
- Instant tools like a word counter, case converter, slug generator, reading-time estimator, hash generator, and SVG-to-JSX converter. They run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type leaves the page.
- AI tools that turn an article into SEO titles and descriptions, or into posts for X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Substack. There's a daily free allowance, or you can use your own key, which stays in your browser.
- Guides and templates: a blog and monthly newsletter on working smarter, plus a shop of templates, most of them free.
No account, no paywall, and the code is open source.
