What I set out to do
Format a file size. Show "2 hours ago". Shorten a long title. Check an email address. Format a price. I'd written these little helpers in nearly every project, slightly differently each time, and fixed the same bugs more than once. I wanted one set I could trust and install anywhere.
What I built
A typed library of over 300 helper functions, grouped into 19 modules.
- Everyday jobs covered: arrays, dates, strings, numbers, currency, countries, URLs, forms, validation, errors, and more.
- Runs anywhere. The main package works on the server, in the browser, in mobile apps, and in background workers.
- Browser helpers kept separate. Clipboard, image, and storage helpers live behind their own import, so a server render never trips over something only a browser has.
- Docs that can't drift. The reference is generated from the code, and the build fails if the two disagree.
Where it is now
Active and published on npm, with new helpers added as I need them.
