What I set out to do

Dark mode without a flash of the wrong theme. Media queries. Closing a menu when you click outside it. Every app I built hit the same browser problems, and I kept rebuilding the same fixes. I wanted them solved once, in a way that works in any React app.

What I built

A typed set of React hooks for the browser problems every app runs into.

• Theming with light, dark, and system modes, saved between visits, and no flash of the wrong theme on load.
• Everyday interface helpers: media queries, reduced-motion preference, click-outside, overlay dismissal, scroll into view, and page titles.
• App essentials: cookie consent, countdowns, copy feedback, and image previews that clean up after themselves.
• No lock-in. It doesn't assume a framework, router, styling library, or state library.

Active and published on npm, growing as new problems come up.
